Description
Leopard seal (Hydrurga leptonyx) that stranded at Point Ricardo (Victoria, Australia) on 10/10/2018. The specimen is registered with Museums Victoria (Australia). The specimen was collected and taken to Monash University (Melbourne, Australia), where it was frozen for later scanning and dissection. The left forelimb was dissected off for CT scanning in 2019, while the remainder awaits detailed dissection.
