Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media Group Title: HRXCT scan Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media File Description: University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 0121\\r\\n\\r\\nScanned images of skulls and turbinates of Canis latrans (coyote) for Blaire Van Valkenburg and Ari Pollack of UCLA. Scanning done by Richard Ketcham on 8/9-8/12/99. Samples mounted in plexiglass cylinders, held in place with foam or clay. Coarse (skull) and fine (turbinate) scans done on different systems, due to size and resolution considerations. Only 16-bit TIFF image files archived.\\r\\n\\r\\nCoyote/female: Collection unknown, specimen #K 1225.\\r\\n\\r\\nSkull: RLS, 420 kV, 4.7 mA, aluminum filter, air wedge, 130% offset, gain 4, integration time 32 ms, slice thickness 2.0 mm, S.O.D. 752 mm, 1000 views, 4 rays averaged per view, 1 sample per view, inter-slice spacing 2.0 mm, field of reconstruction 94 mm, reconstruction offset 500, reconstruction scale 600. Images cropped to 512x375 pixels, to enable fitting them onto CD
