Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media Group Title: HRXCT Scan Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media File Description: University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 1093\\r\\n\\r\\nMacrini\\r\\nOcycteropus: Scans of the skull of Orycteropus afer (AMNH 51909) for Ted Macrini of The University of Texas at Austin.. Specimen scanned in 3 sections by Matthew Colbert 8 and 11 October 2004. \\r\\n\\r\\n8bitrot: 1024x1024 8-bit TIFF images. II, 180 kV, 0.133 mA, no filter, empty container wedge, no offset, slice thickness 2 lines (= 0.202 mm), S.O.D. 295 mm, 1200 views, 2 samples per view, inter-slice spacing 2 lines (= 0.202 mm), field of reconstruction 95 mm (maximum field of view 96.67257 mm), reconstruction offset 8000, reconstruction scale 1700. Acquired with 15 slices per rotation. Spike-removal processing done on all 3 datasets by Susan Garlock based on correction of raw sinogram data using IDL routine “RK_SinoDeSpike”. Datasets separately reconstructed with default parameters, with 3rd dataset rotated -3.5 degrees during reconstruction. Rotation correction processing done by Susan Garlock using IDL routine “DoRotationCorrection” and datasets matched using Photoshop. Overlapping and extra slices deleted, then slices renumbered front to back. Turbinate bones shifted between final slices 351-352 due to movement during scanning.. Total slices = 1237.\\r\\n
