Skull and jaws of Whatcheeria deltae FM PR 1634
Full description
This Whatcheeria specimen, FM PR 1634, was collected from the disused Hiemstra Quarry in SE Iowa (Lombard and Bolt, 1995). FM PR 1634 is a laterally compressed but largely complete skull (161mm from anterior premaxilla to posterior quadratojugal, as preserved) with an intact skull roof, snout and left cheek, along with both lower jaws and some additional post-cranial material
