University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 0847 Rowe: Diademodon: Scans of the fossil skull of Diademodon cf. tetragonus (UCMP 42446; coll. by Charles Camp, 1948, South Africa, Early Triassic, Karoo Group, Cynognathus Zone) for Dr. Timothy Rowe of the Department of Geological Sciences, The University of Texas at Austin. Scanned by Matthew Colbert 18 February 2003. Software skipped slices 180, 210, 240, 241, 242, 243, 270, 300, 330, 360, and 390. These slices were regathered by Richard Ketcham. 16bitbh: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. P250D, 420 kV, 4.8 mA, two brass filters, empty container wedge, 190% offset, integration time 64 ms, slice thickness 1 mm, S.O.D. 698 mm, 1000 views, one ray averaged per view, one sample per view, interslice spacing –0.8 mm, field of reconstruction 266 mm, reconstruction offset 3000, reconstruction scale 1600. Beam hardening correction (parameters: 0.0, 0.9, 0.05) applied to sinograms prior to reconstruction. Total slices = 410.
