Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media Group Title: HRXCT scan Migrated MorphoSource 1 Media File Description: University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive 2279\\r\\n\\r\\nKay:\\r\\nplesio: Scans of the fossil skull of Plesiopithecus teras (DPC 12393) for Richard Kay of Duke University. Specimen scanned by Jessie Maisano 27 May 2010.\\r\\n\\r\\n16bitrot (scale 800): 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 200 kV, 0.165 mA, intensity control off, high-power mode, no filter, air wedge, no offset, slice thickness 1 line ( = 0.03865 mm), S.O.D. 111 mm, 1400 view, 2 samples per view, inter-slice spacing 1 line ( = 0.03865 mm), field of reconstruction 36 mm (maximum field of view 36.92542 mm), scanner offset 5000, reconstruction offset 3100, scanner scale 3400, reconstruction scales 800 and 7300. Acquired with 31 slices per rotation and 25 slices per set. Fillin-, drift-, ring-, and streak-removal processing done by Satomi Ishihama based on correction of raw sinogram data using IDL routine “RK_SinoFillin” with parameters “1, /top” for slices 1-31 and 1024-1054, “RK_SinoDeDrift” with parameters “/hi50, /despike,” “RK_SinoRingProcSimul” with parameter “bestof5=11,” and “RK_SinoDeStreak” with default parameters. Reconstructed with X offset=0.1, Y offset=0.1, and beam hardening correction using IDL FindBHC [(0.03, 0.09, 0.16, 0.22, 0.30, 0.38, 0.47, 0.55) (Num Coefs=8, Downsample=4x, ROI Mode=Joint)]. Deleted last 6 duplicate slices from each rotation. Rotation correction processing done by Satomi Ishihama using IDL routine “DoRotationCorrection.” Deleted first 12 and last 26 blank slices. Post-reconstruction ring correction done by Satomi Ishihama using UTCT ring correction program with parameters “oversample=3.0, binwidth=17, sectors=60” over grayscales 2304-65535 on select slices. Total final slices =1412.\\r\\n
