246 Media · 73 Specimens · Creator: Etienne, Cyril · Managed by: Cyril Etienne

DESCRIPTION

This project regroups the 3D scans of the humerus, radius-ulna, femur and tibia of various extant Bovidae that were used in the scientific paper cited below. It was funded by the ERC grant Gravibone carried by A. Houssaye (UMR 7179 MECADEV - CNRS / MNHN, France).
More data about the specimens are available in the website of the MNHN's collection database, accessible here : https://science.mnhn.fr/institution/mnhn/collection/zm/item/search
We wish to warmly thank the curators and staff of the MNHN's mammal collection for allowing us to digitize the bones.
