University of Texas High-Resolution X-ray CT Facility Archive Gheur: FMNH22464_AMNH100005_: Scans of two snakes heads scanned together but reconstructed separately: Python regius (FMNH 22464; West Africa, captive; 1803 slices); and Leiopython albertisii (AMNH R100005; Papua New Guinea: [West] Sepik: Miliom, 2 mi E Lumi: 1500 ft: 3* 29' S 142* 3' E. 20 Jul 1966 - 23 Jul 1966; J. Diamond; 1601 slices) for Damien Esquerre Gheur and Scott Keogh of The Australian National University. Specimens scanned by Matthew Colbert on 28 November 2016. 16bitTIFF: Scan parameters: NSI scanner. Fein Focus High Power source, 170 kV, 0.16 mA, aluminum filter, Perkin Elmer detector, 0.25 pF gain, 1 fps, 1x1 binning, no flip, source to object 300.0 mm, source to detector 1316.827 mm, continuous CT scan, no frames averaged, 0 skip frames, 3600 projections, 6 gain calibrations, 15 mm calibration phantom, data range [-0.5, 10.0] (grayscales adjusted from NSI defaults), beam-hardening correction = 0.1. Data reoriented prior to reconstructions. Voxel size = 47.2 μm. Total slices = 1803.
