Simmons:
Craseonycteris: Scans of a whole preserved specimen of Craseonycteris thonglonyai (USNM 528306; male; Thailand: Gaow Cave, Sai Yoke Waterfall, Sai Yoke District, Kanchandouri; coll. 02 Sep 1976) for Dr. Nancy Simmons of the American Museum of Natural History. Scanned by Matthew Colbert 14 January 2003.
Whole/16bitrf (slices 1-200): 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 120 kV, 0.2 mA, no filter, empty mount wedge, no offset, slice thickness = 1 line (= 0.021 mm), S.O.D. 61.1 mm, 1000 views, 4 samples per view, interslice spacing = 1 line (=0.021 mm), field of reconstruction 20.0 mm (maximum field of view 20.003 mm), reconstruction offset 9000, reconstruction scale 1200. Acquired with 27 slices per rotation. Total slices = 1782.
ring-removal processing by Richard Ketcham based on correction of raw sinogram data using IDL routine “RK_SinoRingProc”, with parameters BINWIDTH=21, /USEMEAN, SECTORS=22, and then re-reconstructing the original images.
