last2 (M3024 & M3028): Scans of two petrosals of Tadarida mexicana (TMM M-3024; Balcones Research Center, Austin, TX (top of field of view, near garnet) and TMM M-3028; Balcones Research Center, Austin, TX (bottom of field of view)) for Eric Ekdale of the University of Texas, Department of Geological Sciences. Specimen scanned by Matthew Colbert 6 August 2007. 16bit: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images. II, 180 kV, 0.13 mA, intensity control on, no filter, empty container wedge, no offset, slice thickness 1 line (= 0.01043 mm), S.O.D. 30 mm, 1400 views, 3 samples per view, inter-slice spacing 1 line (= 0.01043 mm), field of reconstruction 9.9 mm (maximum field of view 9.947174 mm), reconstruction offset 8200, reconstruction scale 4000. Acquired with 31 slices per rotation and 25 slices per set. Drift and ring-removal processing done by Alison Mote based on correction of raw sinogram data using IDL routines “RK_SinoRingProcSimul” and “RK_SinoRingProcSimul,” both with default parameters. Reconstructed with cray = -1. Deleted the first six duplicate slices of each rotation. Total final slices = 450. 16bit: 1024x1024 16-bit TIFF images.
