The project contains three CT scans that were described in the paper entitled, "The origin of blinking in both mudskippers and tetrapods is linked to life on land," by Aiello et al, which was published in PNAS 2023. Scans are of the heads of two mudskipper species (Periophthalmus barbarus and Periophthalmodon septemradiatus) and the round goby (Neogobius melanostomus). All specimens were soft-tissue contrast stained with phosphomolybdic acid, as described in the methods section of the paper
